| James J. Monteforte established Monteforte Architectural Studio, LLC in 1993, providing architectural design services for both the private and public sectors in the Jersey Shore area.
As Principal Architect for the firm, Jim applies his knowledge and experience in diverse disciplines. His exclusively designed projects benefit from his unique visions and range of styles, satisfying each client’s style preference and individual requirements. Jim takes great pride in the quality of his designs and documents produced by his firm. No matter the size or complexity of the project, Jim’s attention to detail and mix of architectural flavors is always apparent. He is adept in maneuvering through State and Municipal code/construction requirements, especially those of the new FEMA flood elevation requirements. Jim has provided architectural services to many developers from feasibility studies and conceptual design through construction completion. He also has vast experience including single-family homes, multi-family residential complexes, office buildings, medical facilities, religious buildings, private schools and universities, and municipal complexes. Jim earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and is licensed to practice architecture in NJ, NY, CT, DE, MA, MD, NH, PA, FL, and holds licensure to practice Interior Design in NJ.
